ABOUT OUR HOMEOWNER LAWN CONSULTING SERVICES
Home Turf Consulting's core service is the Custom DIY Lawncare Plan- an in-person 1-on-1 consultation followed up by a detailed report. Each report is custom-written for your specific lawn, taking into consideration your lawn's current condition, your goals, and your lawn size. A full season of lawn applications are outlined, including what to buy, how much for your lawn size, and when to apply it. All the confusion that may face you when you walk into the big-box store is eliminated!
What to Apply, How Much and When, plus the WHY
Season-long support is included for the duration of time outlined in the report- always the equivalent of a full-season of lawncare (+/- 8 months). Contact HTC at any point with questions; to double-check amounts; or clarify anything in the report.
With options for lawn enthusiasts of any level, you can meet or even exceed the results of your former pro treatment provider.
CORE DIY LAWNCARE PLANS
Schedule a No-Obligation Consultation to determine if a Home Turf Consulting custom DIY lawncare plan is for you
Within a certain distance, the initial consultation is FREE. Outside that distance but within the Service Area, a $65 consultation fee is charged and credited to the purchase of any Custom DIY Plan or any other Home Turf Consulting service.
Add-on a Laboratory Soil Test Analysis to a Basic or Detailed DIY Plan for $32. Included in Premium DIY Plan
Optional, but recommended in order to provide a solid baseline for future years. Also aids in fine-tuning fertilizer recommendations for your specific lawn.
Home Turf Consulting collects soil samples and ships them to a certified agricultural soil laboratory for testing. HTC then interprets the results and uses them to inform recommendations in your custom DIY plan. Re-testing is recommended either annually or every two years.
All custom plans feature products you can purchase locally or online. Certified organic products are an option as well
Products recommended in custom plans are selected in a budget-conscious manner while still aimed at achieving results. Note that organic lawncare products cost significantly more than others. HTC strives for Integrated Pest Management, a turfgrass management system which incorporates sound cultural practices to control weeds, disease, and pests. IPM is not chemical-free, but does reduce the need for chemicals by establishing the long-term health and durability of your lawn.
*While helping you achieve "Best Lawn in Neighborhood" status is the goal of HTC, results from following an HTC plan cannot be guaranteed, and long-term success in lawncare typically requires patience. However, I'm confident that following Home Turf Consulting's guidance as well as published labels on all recommended products, will result in greater overall satisfaction with your lawn.
